The Racist Wolf Bites Obama

The spectacle of the racist wolf biting President Barack Obama on his political posterior in the Shirley Sherrod firing debacle was, indeed, ugly and poetic justice, too, considering that the Democratic Party unleashed the beast of racial politics on America more than 150 years ago. Details about civil rights history are posted on the National Black Republican Association (NBRA) website.

Long before the Sherrod shame, Obama played the race card by wrongly accusing a white police officer in Boston of racism for arresting a black college professor after Obama acknowledged he didn’t know all the facts. Obama also authorized the Justice Department to dismiss a case against the New Black Panthers who were caught on video intimidating white voters in Philadelphia during the 2008 election.

Jockeying for political advantage, Obama attacked Arizona for trying to protect its citizens from the ravages of illegal immigration, falsely accusing the state of racial profiling in order to harvest Hispanic votes. Obama launched his assault even though he had not read Arizona’s law that mirrors federal law and explicitly prohibits racial profiling. Demonstrating just how sinister his ploy is against Arizona, racial profiling is not even mentioned in the lawsuit filed by Obama’s Justice Department. Not being sued by Obama are the sanctuary cities that are openly defying the federal immigration law which, notably, does not prohibit racial profiling and requires the reporting of illegal immigrants to federal officials.

Bolstered by not being held accountable by the liberal media for his blatant race-baiting, Obama boldly used NAACP surrogates to brand as racist Tea Party activists, just for the purpose of intimidating into silence average Americans protesting against his socialist agenda, while cleverly shoring up his black voter base.

While Obama was busily and gleefully counting the spoils of his divisive racial politics, along came Shirley Sherrod. Part of Sherrod’s NAACP speech was featured in a video Andrew Breitbart posted on the Internet. Breitbart’s intent was to expose the racial hypocrisy shown when the NAACP audience cheered as Sherrod recounted past acts of racism toward a white farmer. Included in the Breitbart video was the segment where Sherrod revealed—after the NAACP crowd had voiced approval of her prior racist actions—how she had repented.

Spooked by the specter of having the NAACP’s racial duplicity expose on the Glenn Beck television show, Obama ordered Sherrod fired immediately by Tom Vilsack, secretary of the Department of Agriculture, without due process. The NAACP covered Obama’s back by denouncing Sherrod as a racist and supporting Obama’s decision to fire her. Neither Obama nor the NAACP bothered viewing the entire video that was in the possession of the NAACP. Contrary to false assertions by Obama’s minions, Sherrod’s name was not even mentioned by either Glenn Beck or FOX News until after Obama fired her. Glenn Beck actually defended Sherrod on his program because she had expressed repentance.

While unfairly attacking FOX News, Obama’s defenders ignored how stories about Sherrod were aired on the alphabet liberal media from ABC to NBC, to CNN, to MSNBC, and so on. A liar is how Obama characterized Sherrod through his liberal media mouthpieces after Sherrod revealed during television interviews that she was told the White House wanted her fired. Conveniently omitted from most liberal press accounts about the Sherrod saga is how she, in the spirit of a committed left-winger, smeared Republicans as racists during her NAACP speech and recently advocated shutting down FOX News.

Witnessing Obama and his Democratic Party cohorts being hoisted on their own racist petard is not a pretty sight. On reflection, though, this despicable exhibition of rank race mongering may well be a turning point, the seminal moment where Obama and the Democrats cried racist wolf one time too many and were not believed by the American people.

A Stranger in Our Midst

As the Obama administration enters its second year, I — and undoubtedly millions of others — have struggled to develop a shorthand term that captures our emotional unease.  Defining this discomfort is tricky. I reject nearly the entire Obama agenda, but the term “being opposed” lacks an emotional punch.  Nor do terms like “worried” or “anxious” apply.  I was more worried about America’s future during the Johnson or Carter years, so it’s not that dictionary, either.  Nor, for that matter, is this about backroom odious deal-making and pork, which are endemic in American politics.

After auditioning countless political terms, I finally realized that the Obama administration and its congressional collaborators almost resemble a foreign occupying force, a coterie of politically and culturally non-indigenous leaders whose rule contravenes local values rooted in our national tradition.  It is as if the United States has been occupied by a foreign power, and this transcends policy objections.  It is not about Obama’s birthplace.  It is not about race, either; millions of white Americans have had black mayors and black governors, and this unease about out-of-synch values never surfaced.

The term I settled on is “alien rule” — based on outsider values, regardless of policy benefits — that generates agitation.  This is what bloody anti-colonial strife was all about. No doubt, millions of Indians and Africans probably grasped that expelling the British guaranteed economic ruin and even worse governance, but at least the mess would be their mess.  Just travel to Afghanistan and witness American military commanders’ efforts to enlist tribal elders with promises of roads, clean water, dental clinics, and all else that America can freely provide.  Many of these elders probably privately prefer abject poverty to foreign occupation since it would be their poverty, run by their people, according to their sensibilities.

This disquiet was a slow realization.  Awareness began with Obama’s odd pre-presidency associations, decades of being oblivious to Rev. Wright’s anti-American ranting, his enduring friendship with the terrorist guy-in-the-neighborhood Bill Ayers, and the Saul Alinsky-flavored anti-capitalist community activism.  Further add a hazy personal background — an Indonesian childhood, shifting official names, and a paperless-trail climb through elite educational institutions.

None of this disqualified Obama from the presidency; rather, this background just doesn’t fit with the conventional political résumé.  It is just the “outsider” quality that alarms.  For all the yammering about George W. Bush’s privileged background, his made-in-the-USA persona was absolutely indisputable.  John McCain might be embarrassed about his Naval Academy class rank and iffy combat performance, but there was never any doubt of his authenticity.  Countless conservatives despised Bill Clinton, but nobody ever, ever doubted his good-old-boy American bona fides.

The suspicion that Obama is an outsider, a figure who really doesn’t “get” America, grew clearer from his initial appointments.  What “native” would appoint Kevin Jennings, a militant gay activist, to oversee school safety?  Or permit a Marxist rabble-rouser to be a “green jobs czar”? How about an Attorney General who began by accusing Americans of cowardice when it comes to discussing race?  And who can forget Obama’s weird defense of his pal Louis Henry Gates from “racist” Cambridge, Massachusetts cops?  If the American Revolution had never occurred and the Queen had appointed Obama Royal Governor (after his distinguished service in Kenya), a trusted locally attuned aide would have first whispered in his ear, “Mr. Governor General, here in America, we do not automatically assume that the police were at fault,” and the day would have been saved.

And then there’s the “we are sorry, we’ll never be arrogant again” rhetoric seemingly designed for a future President of the World election campaign.  What made Obama’s Cairo utterances so distressing was how they grated on American cultural sensibilities.  And he just doesn’t notice, perhaps akin to never hearing Rev. Wright anti-American diatribes.  An American president does not pander to third-world audiences by lying about the Muslim contribution to America.  Imagine Ronald Reagan, or any past American president, trying to win friends by apologizing.  This appeal contravenes our national character and far exceeds a momentary embarrassment about garbled syntax or poor delivery.  Then there’s Obama’s bizarre, totally unnecessary deep bowing to foreign potentates.  Americans look foreign leaders squarely in the eye and firmly shake hands; we don’t bow.

But far worse is Obama’s tone-deafness about American government.  How can any ordinary American, even a traditional liberal, believe that jamming through unpopular, debt-expanding legislation that consumes one-sixth of our GDP, sometimes with sly side-payments and with a thin majority, will eventually be judged legitimate?  This is third-world, maximum-leader-style politics.  That the legislation was barely understood even by its defenders and vehemently championed by a representative of that typical American city, San Francisco, only exacerbates the strangeness.  And now President Obama sides with illegal aliens over the State of Arizona, which seeks to enforce the federal immigration law to protect American citizens from marauding drug gangs and other miscreants streaming in across the Mexican border.

Reciprocal public disengagement from President Obama is strongly suggested by recent poll data on public trust in government. According to a recent Pew report, only 22% of those asked trust the government always or most of the time, among the lowest figures in half a century. And while pro-government support has been slipping for decades, the Obama presidency has sharply exacerbated this drop.  To be sure, many factors (in particular the economic downturn) contribute to this decline, but remember that Obama was recently elected by an often wildly enthusiastic popular majority.  The collapse of trust undoubtedly transcends policy quibbles or a sluggish economy — it is far more consistent with a deeper alienation.

Perhaps the clearest evidence for this “foreigner in our midst” mentality is the name given our resistance — tea parties, an image that instantly invokes the American struggle against George III, a clueless foreign ruler from central casting.  This history-laden label was hardly predetermined, but it instantly stuck (as did the election of Sen. Scott Brown as “the shot heard around the world” and tea partiers dressing up in colonial-era costumes).  Perhaps subconsciously, Obama does remind Americans of when the U.S. was really occupied by a foreign power. A Declaration of Independence passage may still resonate: “HE [George III] has erected a Multitude of new Offices [Czars], and sent hither Swarms of Officers [recently hired IRS agents] to harass our People, and eat out the Substance.”

Hizballah jihadists colluding with drug cartels on Mexican border

And obtaining false documents to enter the U.S. “Congresswoman Raises Red Flag on Hezbollah-Cartel Nexus on U.S. Border,” for FOXNews.com, June 25:

Iran-tied terror group Hezbollah may be colluding with drug cartels along the U.S.-Mexico border, a Republican congresswoman warned, calling on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to establish a special task force to figure out how to “clamp down” on this “national security” threat.The Lebanon-based group has long-standing and documented ties to South America and its drug gangs, but reports have recently surfaced that it may be expanding its influence to Mexico and the U.S. border.

In her letter to Napolitano, Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., called on Homeland Security to find out and report more on the extent of the problem. She cited several troubling developments that would point to Hezbollah creeping closer to and inside the United States, with the help of Mexican drug gangs.

“It is vital we know what is happening on our border, especially as crime and violence continue to rise there and as terrorist plots and threats are increasing inside the U.S.,” she wrote.

Myrick outlined a complex set of potential threats and evidence of their existence. She said “Iranian agents and members of Hezbollah” are thought to be learning Spanish in Hugo Chavez-run Venezuela before trying to obtain false documents to enter the United States as purported Mexicans. She said Hezbollah, known for its tunnel-digging skill, could be receiving drug money from cartel operations in exchange for help forging better tunnels across the U.S. border for trafficking.

She said gang members in prisons in the American southwest are starting to show up with tattoos in Farsi, implying a “Persian influence that can likely be traced back to Iran and its proxy army, Hezbollah.”…

Myrick cited the opinions and findings of former intelligence officials and others in her detailed letter. One of them was a “high-ranking Mexican Army officer” whom she said believes Hezbollah could be training Mexican drug cartels to make bombs.

“This might lead to Israel-like car bombings of Mexican/USA border personnel or National Guard units,” she wrote. …

25 Obama Crimes the House Should Investigate in 2011

  1. Convicted felon and Chicago real estate developer Tony Rezko’s purchase of land adjacent to Obama’s house in Hyde Park, IL. In 2006, Rezko sold a 10 foot strip of his property to Obama for $104,500, rendering the remainder of Rezko’s $625,000 investment too small to be developed and, for all intensive purposes, worthless.
  2. The provision of the Obama campaign donor lists to ACORN in 2007 and 2008, more complete lists than the ones he provided to the FEC. ACORN used the lists to illegally raise money for Obama’s election from donors who had already maxed out their legally allowable contributions.
  3. Widespread voter fraud including voter intimidation, ballot stuffing, falsified documents, and threats of violence against Hillary Clinton supporters committed by the Obama campaign and ACORN during the 2008 Democrat primary election.   4. Obama’s refusal to release his long form birth certificate which would show conclusively that he is a dual citizen and therefore not constitutionally eligible to serve as President.   5. Protecting union interests over those of GM and Chrysler bond holders during bankruptcy proceedings, forcing investors to accept millions of dollars in losses in direct violation of bankruptcy laws, money to which they were legally entitled.
  6. Preferential treatment given to minority and women owned car dealerships by Obama administration officials as part of the auto industry bailout program and the forced closing of a disproportionate number of rural dealerships located in areas that did not vote for Obama.
  7. Unsubstantiated firing of Corporation for National and Community Service Inspector General Gerald Walpin for exposing Sacramento Mayor and Obama supporter Kevin Johnson’s misuse of an $850,000 AmeriCorps grant.
  8. Purchase of Congressional support for the passage of Obama’s healthcare bill including the “Cornhusker Kickback”, “Louisiana Purchase” and having the Department of Interior increase water allocations to the Central Valley of California to secure the votes of Democrat Reps. Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa.
  9. Lying to the American people by promising they could keep their healthcare coverage if they wanted to, when in reality tens of millions will be forced out of their current plans.
  10. Attempted bribery of Rep. Joe Sestak with job offers to get him to drop out of the Senate primary race against Sen. Arlen Specter.

  12. The Obama administration’s statement that a panel of experts had agreed with their plan for a 6 month Gulf Coast drilling moratorium, when in actuality none of them had supported the measure.
  13. Bullying BP to set up a $20 billion slush fund to compensate Gulf Coast businesses and residents affected by the oil spill, to be administered by an Obama political appointee without any judicial or congressional oversight.
  14. Implementing a third oil-drilling moratorium after the first two were thrown out of court, creating a de facto Gulf Coast offshore drilling ban in opposition to two judge’s rulings.
  15. Establishment of a commission to investigate the Gulf Coast oil spill that contains not one oil industry expert and whose transparent purpose is to push a partisan political agenda rather than investigate the cause of the disaster.
  16. Obama’s policy of intentionally not securing our nation’s borders, in opposition to Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution which calls for the President to protect states from foreign invasion, in an attempt to blackmail Republican support for comprehensive immigration reform. In essence, Obama is holding border states and residents politically hostage during a time they are being overrun by a narco-paramilitary invasion.
  17. Department of Justice illegal race based policies regarding voter fraud as exposed by former Justice attorney J. Christian Adams. This includes the dropping of voter intimidation charges against 2 Black Panthers brandishing weapons in front of a voting location in Philadelphia and the stated intention by political appointees to ignore voter crimes committed by African Americans, Latinos and other minorities.
  18. Department of Justice purposefully allowing some states to continue their disenfranchisement of military personnel serving overseas in direct opposition to the 2009 Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act, which was established in response to the more than 17,000 military votes that were not counted in the 2008 election because ballots had arrived after the deadline.
  19. Recess appointment of Donald Berwick as head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services without even a token attempt to put him through the Congressional nomination process, signaling that Congress’s constitutional obligation to vet presidential appointees means nothing to Obama. The same can be said of the 30+ Obama administration czars.
  20. Spending $23 million of taxpayer money through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to support a constitutional referendum in Kenya in spite of the Siljander Amendment, which makes it illegal for the U.S. to lobby for abortion in other countries. The Kenyan referendum was partially written by Planned Parenthood and is designed to legalize abortion in that nation.
  21. The participation of the Obama administration in the firing of Sherry Sherrod from the USDA without due process because of publicized out of context remarks she made at a NAACP meeting in March 2010.
  22. The White House sham investigation of BP’s involvement in the release of the mass murdering Lockerbie bomber from prison. The Obama administration not only knew beforehand of the Scottish government’s plan to set Abdel Baset al-Megrahi free on “compassionate” grounds, they even sent a letter to Scottish authorities stating their preference for his remaining in Scotland over his transfer to a Libyan prison.
  23. The canceling of 77 properly filed oil field development contracts approved by the Bush administration by Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, preventing the extraction of up to 3 trillion gallons of oil buried under Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and North Dakota, more than enough to end our dependence on foreign oil and supply the U.S. with its energy needs for hundreds of years at current consumption rates.
  24. Investigations by the Department of Homeland Security to determine the political affiliation of people making Freedom of Information Act requests and the subsequent delay and even altogether ignoring of requests made by Republican affiliated individuals.
  25. The hardest to prosecute in court, but worst crime of all that Obama has perpetrated against the American people is the economic tyranny that his socialist policies have wrecked upon our nation. While Obama has been living the life of a king, including frequent 5 star vacations, dozens of concerts at the White House and endless rounds of golf, all paid for by taxpayer money—the increased transportation and security costs alone are in the millions of dollars—he has called for the rest of us to endure economic sacrifice. The annual trillion dollar deficits and borrowing of 41 cents of every dollar of government spending by Obama is leading to unsustainable and potentially catastrophic debt.

Something to Look Forward to

These 25 crimes are just what I’ve been able to dig up over the past couple of weeks. No doubt there are many more that I have missed or still as yet undiscovered. While any one may be sufficient to impeach Obama, taken as a whole it demonstrates that Obama has little to no regard for the rule of law.

British school project declares Obama born in Kenya

CHILDREN IN KENYAN SCHOOLS “ABOUT 30 MILES FROM WHERE OBAMA WAS BORN” CELEBRATED HIS ILLEGITIMATE VICTORY IN THE U.S.

According to Wikipedia, Barack Obama Sr. donated land he owned to build two schools in Kogelo Village which were renamed “Senator Obama Primary and Secondary School,” respectively.

(Jul. 23, 2010) — A “school linking project in both Britain and Kenya”  named “Plan” reportedlylauded the election of Barack Hussein Obama to the U.S. presidency, with the Kenyan children celebrating that he was born in Kogelo, Kenya, Africa.

The report, which links back to the organization’s main website, states that “More than 50 schools in Kisumu, Kenya, about 30 miles from where Obama was born and where his grandmother still lives in the village of Kogelo, have linked to British partners as part of the scheme.”

“Plan” is a project which raises money to sponsor children in poor areas of the world.

The area in Kenya boasts two schools named after Barack Obama Jr.  The village reportedly “had no electricity, but it was connected to the power network immediately after the 2008 US presidential election”  as they expected an influx of tourists to the region.

An African newspaper reported that Obama’s father was born in Kogelo Village, but also stated that “According to Luo customs, a child belongs to the father, hence the strong bonds of kinship to the American president-elect in Western Kenya.”

Another article refers to Obama as Kenya’s “son.”

The “Plan” operates “development programmes in 49 of the world’s poorest countries,” including the United States.

A website about the Kisumu region of Kenya states:

Congratulations to Barack Obama,son of Kisumu, for getting elected to the highest and most powerful office in the world,The President of United States of America.  Obama’s father was born in Kisumu, Kenya. It is a pride for Kisumu and whole of Africa.

A Kenyan travel website is offering an “8 Day Barack Obama’s Kenya Roots” tour.

Following the 2008 U.S. presidential election, residents of Kogelo Village celebratedObama’s putative win.  According to the BBC, “Although they were thousands of miles away from the US, it was still a very personal win for them as they truly consider Mr Obama a son of Kogelo.”

Kenya will be voting on adopting or rejecting a proposed new constitution soon.  An Obama visit to Kenya has reportedly been promised if the new constitution is passed after the August 4 vote.  Obama instructed the U.S. ambassador to Kenya to “support” its passage.  While visiting Kenya in June, putative Vice President Joseph Biden commented that he “wanted the ‘right climate in Kenya and described the proposed constitution as a ’single unique opportunity.’  Obama’s State Department had pledged $2,000,000 in support of the new constitution, which would allow abortion to be legalized for the first time in that country’s history and which has prompted a congressional investigation.

Polls are indicating that the new constitution will pass, but that violence could result.

According to an African online news site, “Obama has been consistent in his push for a new constitution. In June he dispatched Vice-President Joe Biden to Nairobi to encourage President Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga to soldier on with the Yes campaigns.”

The scheduled vote on the Kenyan constitution is the same day which Obama has stated is his date of birth, as shown in an article from the Los Angeles Times which states that both of John McCain’s parents were U.S. citizens but qualifies Obama as eligible for the presidency based on only one U.S.-citizen parent, for which no proof is provided.

John Jay, the first U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice, wrote in a letter dated July 25, 1787 to George Washington regarding the qualifications of the president:

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise and seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of foreigners into the administration of our national government; and to declare expressly that the command in chief of the American Army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural-born citizen.

Last fall, plans were announced to erect a cultural center at Obama’s “ancestral home in Kogelo.”  If Obama was born in Hawaii, as he claims, why is there no monument or plans for a cultural center there?  Would that not also have been an “ancestral home”?  Where are his Hawaiian relatives, and where are his Hawaiian roots?

For that matter, where are his American roots?

Why are Biden and Obama so interested in what goes on in Kenya?  Why are they meddling in that country’s political affairs?

The Ten Commandments According to Obama

After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct opposite! To prove that our conclusions are correct, you will find a link to source documentation for each commandment on the Patriot Update web site.

I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE

Did Illegal Aliens Kill City of Maywood?

How did this happen, the closing of the city of Maywood in the San Gabriel Valley area of LA County?

“The Maywood City Council announced this week that after years of radical policies, corruption and scandal, the city was broke and all city employees would be laid off and essential city services contracted out to neighboring cities or to L.A. County government.”

It did not take much, just an out of control city council preferring criminals and illegal aliens to honest citizens.

“Maywood was the first California city with an elected Hispanic City Council, one of the first “sanctuary” cities for illegal aliens, the first city to pass a resolution calling for a boycott of Arizona after that state passed a law to enforce federal immigration laws, the first California city to order its police department not to enforce state laws requiring drivers to have licenses to drive, the first American city to call on Congress to grant amnesty to all illegal’s.

Council meetings were conducted in Spanish. Maywood was the leader in the peaceful, democratic achievement of the La Raza goal to take power in the U.S. ”

The purpose of the city was the expansion of illegal alien “rights”, not the enforcement of our laws.  Sadly, towns like the infamous Bell , Los Angeles , San Fran and other California cities are doing much of the same as Maywood did.  And we are all paying the price in higher crime rates, crowded schools, prisons, hospitals and loss of jobs.

This is why government has too much money.  This is a city that has caused much crime and anguish to honest people.  Shame on us for allowing this.

Rep. Hunter Pushes Action Against ‘Sanctuary Cities’

Frustrated at the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Arizona’s new immigration law, a Republican congressman introduced a bill demanding that the attorney general also take action against so-called “sanctuary cities,” which discourage immigration enforcement.

Rep. Duncan Hunter’s bill is the latest step as lawmakers seek to inject themselves into the debate and force their colleagues to take a stand on the contentious Arizona law. One of those moves failed Wednesday when Republicans tried, but failed, to have the Senate vote on blocking the government’s lawsuit against Arizona.

Mr. Hunter’s bill, for which he started soliciting co-sponsors Wednesday, would stop the Justice Department from pursuing its lawsuit against Arizona until Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. submits a plan to Congress outlining how he would bring sanctuary cities into compliance with federal law.

A majority of voters tell pollsters they back Arizona’s law, and Mr. Hunter said the government overstepped its bounds by singling out a state he says is only trying to help federal authorities meet their responsibility to enforce the country’s borders.

“The federal government is being inconsistent,” said the lawmaker, whose district includes San Diego and other areas just north of the California-Mexico border. “They’re saying we don’t want a patchwork of laws, and that’s why they’re suing Arizona, but at the same time they allow sanctuary cities … to passively impede federal law.”

Tracy Schmaler, a spokeswoman for Mr. Holder, did not respond to a request seeking comment Wednesday. But in a statement to The Washington Times last week, Ms. Schmaler said the Arizona law and sanctuary ordinances are not the same.

“There is a big difference between a state or locality saying they are not going to use their resources to enforce a federal law, as so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ have done, and a state passing its own immigration policy that actively interferes with federal law,” she said. “That’s what Arizona did in this case.”
